As founder of Cartier Agency, Tom has had a defining role in the business as well as the community. From serving on various insurance carrier agent boards to coaching hockey to chairing the boards of nonprofits, Tom has given time to numerous causes that impact the region and the industry. He has been recognized for his dedication through a number of awards, including distinguished service awards from Duluth Jaycees and Skyline Rotary and St. Louis County's Volunteer Excellence Award.

Joseph specializes in Tribal insurance and financial institutions. With 25 years of commercial insurance experience, his accounts represent a wide range of businesses encompassing all lines of coverage. Joseph earned an accounting degree from University of Minnesota Duluth, earned the CPA designation, and has attended continuing education for the past 25 years. Joseph is past president of Duluth Harbortown Rotary, Duluth Lighthouse for the Blind and Northland Country Club.

Andrea graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a degree in communications and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. She has worked as both a customer service representative and an insurance sales agent. Andrea is a current board member of First Witness Child Abuse Resource Center, past board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Carlton County, Leadership Duluth graduate, Kids Plus mentor, United Way Fund Development chair, and she served on the Lake Superior Initiative selection committee.

Matthew has worked in insurance since 2002. He graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in 2001. He is president of the Duluth Art Institute board and past president of Lincoln Park Business Group. He serves on the West Bend Mutual Agents Advisory Board and the Young Leaders Fund committee and is a member of Skyline Rotary and the Hermantown Chamber.

Cory graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s degree in business communication. He has been with Cartier Agency since 2005. He is involved with the Boys and Girls Club and the YMCA.

With 10 years of experience owning and running a contracting company, Justin brings a unique understanding of the needs and concerns of area business owners to his work. Justin is a member of the Arrowhead Builders Association, Duluth Builders Exchange and Eco Rotary of Duluth.

Jeremy is an insurance and registered representative. He works with business and individual customers to customize insurance and investment programs based on their individual situations. Jeremy is actively involved in the community as a youth hockey coach and rink director for Glen Avon, treasurer for the Valley Youth Center, membership chair for Lake Superior National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and member of Harbortown Rotary.

Griffin joined Cartier Agency in 2005. He enjoys learning about local businesses, meeting the individuals involved and providing a service to them. He is involved in Skyline Rotary and First United Methodist Church.

A Duluth native, Mike has worked as an agent for 29 years, 27 of which have been for Cartier Agency. Over the years, Mike has been involved with the Boys and Girls Club, Italian American Club, Knights of Columbus, West Kiwanis, Zenith City Men's Club, and coaching high school football.

Pat has worked in the insurance industry for several years, handling all types of accounts. She has expertise in finding a perfect fit between the client and the insurance company that can offer the best plan, price and coverage.

Kim graduated from The College of St Scholastica with a degree in business management and Duluth Business University with a degree in accounting. She has worked for the Cartier Agency since 2004 specializing in commercial insurance. She manages loss control for accounts of all sizes and emphasizes personal assistance to our clients should a loss occur. Kim also has her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.

Amy graduated from the University of Wisconsin Superior in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in corporate health management. Amy is licensed in property/casualty insurance.

Deb is the office administrator and handles claims for farm clients. She has 15 years experience being the middle person between our clients and the insurance company in the event that a client experiences a loss. She is involved with area youth/high school sports.

Mary has worked in the insurance business for seven years. She has volunteered in the Esko community as well as the Esko school system. Mary is a member of the Minnesota Forestry Association and the American Tree Farm System.

Kresha services small and large group business and individual accounts helping with any issues that come up from questions about coverage, billing issues and policy administration. Kresha has more than seven years of insurance experience

Lori started in the insurance industry in 1981 and has worked in many areas within the independent agency system. Her expertise has primarily been servicing a wide range of commercial property casualty insurance customers. She has been servicing Tribal accounts for over 15 years. Lori is a licensed insurance professional and in 2001 earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation.

Jennifer graduated from Winona State University with a degree in Public Relations and Marketing. She has been in the insurance business since 2006 and specializes in working with clients in the commercial trucking industry. She is an active volunteer with the ALS Association of Minnesota.

Aileen is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth with a degree in Business Management. She provides customer service for personal lines customers. She is a volunteer for the Hearts Charity Curling Tournament and is an avid curler competing at the National and World level.
